These terms govern your access to and usage of our developer platform, neural networks, and applications.

Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to qoru (referred to as "qoru," "qoru," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and us. By registering for, accessing, or using our websites, models, APIs, and interfaces (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

If you are accessing the Platform on behalf of an enterprise or other corporate entity, you warrant that you have authority to bind that entity, in which case "you" or "your" refers directly to that entity. If you do not accept these Terms, do not register for or use our services.

1. User Accounts

To access certain advanced APIs or model settings, you must create a developer account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
  • Keep your account credentials, including API secret keys, secure and confidential.
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized activity or security breach involving your account.

You are solely responsible for all actions, API compute costs, and outputs generated under your account keys.

2. Licenses & Rights

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, non-transferable, and revocable license to access our platform interfaces and deploy our APIs inside your applications.

Your Input Content: You own all inputs (prompts, source files, source sentences) that you submit to the Platform.

Generated Model Output: As between you and qoru, you own all translation strings, NLP analysis, and other outputs generated by the Platform. You assume all liability and ownership rights for utilizing or distributing these outputs.

3. API Usage Limits

We place rate limits, concurrency blocks, and monthly token quotas on our API endpoints to ensure equitable load distribution across our GPU clusters. You agree:

  • Not to bypass or attempt to circumvent rate limits (e.g., via multi-account key cycling).
  • Not to execute load tests or high-concurrency benchmarks without coordinating with our engineering team in advance.
  • That we reserve the right to throttle, pause, or suspend API traffic that threatens platform stability.

4. Prohibited Content

You agree not to utilize our Platform or translation engines to generate, translate, or propagate:

  • Hate speech, harassment, or materials inciting violence against individuals or groups.
  • Malware, exploits, or code structured for cyber-attacks.
  • Sexually explicit content or CSAM.
  • Deceptive misinformation, synthetic identities, or non-consensual deepfakes.

5. Disclaimers of Warranties

OUR PLATFORM AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. PACT AI AND ITS LICENSORS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that our translation models will be completely free of errors, bias, or halluncinations, nor that API connections will be uninterrupted. Artificial intelligence outputs are probabilistic; verify critical translations independently.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, qoru SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total cumulative liability to you for all claims related to the Platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising under or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction therein.
